To further strengthen internal controls, compliance and governance in Europe. Your primary responsibility is to be the focal point of the GRC program across Nikon Europe, implementing tools, creating a GRC environment that is in line with stakeholder expectations, leading and monitoring activities and supporting various GRC projects. In this position, you are reporting to the Senior Manager Compliance & Sustainability.
This role is new to the organization.
Main responsibilities
- Lead timely, systematic and structured GRC monitoring activities and documentation
- Administer and coordinate various GRC related training courses
- Identify risk areas concerning internal controls by Data analytics
- Foster good stakeholder management throughout the organization, to ensure their compliance and to support their execution of improvement actions
- Take action and give support to the business on 3rd line issues.
- Create and improve necessary guidelines, policies and procedures, and manage their inventory
- Establish a sound compliance & risk program.
- Job requirements
- A university degree in economics or legal.
- 5 years of experience ideally in compliance & ethics, internal audit, risk management, internal controls, or similar, in a multinational business environment or in a BIG 4 environment
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of administrative organization and internal controls
- Ability to produce summary, management-level reports
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Other languages are a plus
- Hands-on, good eye for details, structured, high integrity, cultural awareness, entrepreneurial.
Hybrid
Nikon is used to work 3 day’s at the office and two as from home. They are based in Amsterdam.
Working time
37,5 hours. 5 day’s a week (4 day’s is discussable)
