Main Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the external and internal audits
- Responsible for J-Sox controls
- Ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies & Procedures and IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Bring in improvements through technology, process improvements and simplification of procedures
Tasks:
- Liaison with External Auditors
- Liaison with Internal Auditors
- Coordination of Quarterly reviews by external audit
- Coordination of Year End Audit
- Contact person for branches for audit purposes
- Preparation of position papers
- Review of documentation provided by branches
- Address all internal and external audit questions and concerns accurately and timely
- Provide insight and adheres to audit deadlines
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Coordination of J-Sox audit
- Guarantee of proper maintenance and creation of J-Sox regulation documents
- Review and update Group Accounting Policies and Procedures
- Involvement in standardization, harmonization and improvement projects
- De functie-eisen
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience within multiple facets of internal control and compliance
- University degree in finance
- Additional qualifications for RA, CIA certification is preferred
- Experience in international setting is preferred, able to operate in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Knowledge and experience with IFRS and Dutch GAAP is mandatory
- Experience with SAP FI/CO is considered a strong advantage
- Knowledge of the Dutch tax regulations is preferred
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, which is the working language
- Dutch language is an advantage
