Senior Manager Financial Control (referentienummer: 3034)

The Senior Manager Financial Control is the driving force of the team, takes initiatives and has the execution power to achieve his goals. He has a strong vision on financial control and the developments within this field of expertise. He knows how to translate this to the team and to inspire them to participate and to take responsibility in taking financial control to a next level.

• Lead, manage and develop a team of 15 controllers: staffing, review of outputs, coaching, motivate and develop the team on professional and personal level.
• Leading the team in analysing financial results (period over period, vs budget etc) on a consolidated and per business unit basis and explain these results towards stakeholders including shareholders, (executive) management, auditors and investors.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of key-reports consolidated from several IT-systems and in the applicable (accounting) standards (i.e. US GAAP and/or IFRS), including in depth analysis regarding amongst others Gross Margin, Cashflow, CAPEX and Balance sheet.
• Monitor major performance indicators such as revenues, sales costs, capital expenditures and expenses in order to understand past and present trends and report to and advice management on these issues.
• Work closely together with and support the Business Control and FP&A departments with detailed budgeting and forecasting cycles for P&L, Balance Sheet, CAPEX, Working Capital and Cash Flow.
• Act as a financial business partner for the business units by supporting business-lead changes and translate changes into structures and financial processes. Perform deep dives where needed and advice accordingly.
• Evaluate financial reports to prove findings to management that are important for the decision making process.
• Identify variances and potential risk areas and inform and draft proposals for appropriate prevention, mitigation or correction and monitor the implementation.
• Responsible for large projects within Finance such as ERP transition, IFRS15/ASC606 implementation, integration and optimization of financial processes of the Joint Venture companies, participation in product introduction projects and M&A type of projects.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of the team, the output, working processes etc.
