As Financial Control, Reporting, and Planning Manager you will steer the Financial Controller to ensure that an accurate, relevant and timely financial and business information is shared internally and externally. You support the business to drive the performance and achieve our ambitious growth plan by providing relevant and comprehensive analysis, and leading improvement projects. You also prepare the budget, forecast, and maintain the company financial model. Last but not least, you also improve the financial processes at Kingfish, and drive automation and digitalization of our financial operations. The FP&A analyst will assist you with this.

Responsibilities of the Financial Control team:
Financial and managerial reporting
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and financial reporting
- Prepare the monthly managerial reporting
- Analyze business performance
- Alert on potential issues and propose mitigation actions
Financial planning
- Drive the annual budgeting process and the forecast processes.
- Prepare financial projections (revenue, cash, profitability…) whenever needed.
- Responsible to maintain and update the long-term company financial model.
- Prepare investment projects financial plan and business case.
- Track current and future compliance with covenants.
Financial accounting
- Responsible for cost accounting (cogs, inventory) and cogs analysis.
- Responsible for ESOP, IFRS 16, Debt accounting, hedging and accounting for other complex standards.
- IFRS champion: ensure IFRS compliance and advise on accounting treatment of complex transactions
- Implement and maintain assurance policies (such as impairment analysis, going concern
- Prepare the half-year and full year financial statements.
- Ensure coordination between financial reporting and ESG reporting.
- Manage external Auditors and coordinate audit process.
Financial processes and controls
- Overall responsible for financials processes, financial policies and the Group Chart of Accounts.
- Define and optimize financials processes and set-up and improve supporting tools (Caseware, Aquamanager, datawarehouse).
- Drive efficiency through automation, digitalization and integration
- Define financial controls and test effectiveness of the controls.
- Ensure a proper segregation of duties in all financial processes and systems
In this role you work closely with the CFO, and with the Investor Relations manager. You interact on a daily basis with the Finance Operations team. You also develop a strong network in the organization, and you are well connected to all operational functions (Hatchery, Production, Maintenance, R&D, Design & Construction, Quality & Sustainability, Processing, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service…).

- You have at least five to ten years relevant working experience and have a RA /RC qualification
- Your profile gives insight you have a broad knowledge of financial control and managerial control
- You feel responsible and like to add value to the organization
- Strong financial knowledge and experience of capital markets.
- You have extremely strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- You like networking.
- You have a proven affinity for entrepreneurship.
- You are flexible and willing to travel frequently.
- Experience in working within a start-up or scale-up environment is highly beneficial.

Work location:
- The role is based at our head office and plant in Kats, Zeeland (close to Goes and Zierikzee).
- Hybrid working is possible, with a minimum 3-day / week presence in Kats.
