The Group business control manager ensures Management and corporate reporting throughout the group and the financial authorities and shareholders, providing strategic information, business planning and advice to the management team. This includes:
- Planning, directing and coordinating all (group) business control functions
- Managing the planning, reporging and budget process cycles
- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Establishing an global finance transformation towards a state of the art finance ICT integration (Business analytics, data warehousing, business performance, RPA etc.)
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Developing business models
- Preparing the organization for an IPO
- Lead the performance improvement aspect of the Finance’s role through KPI, performance bridge and other reporting cycles
- Discussion partner to the sr manager and CFO on the key strategic initiatives
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled controllers

- Will preferably have a graduate degree and 8-10 years' post qualification experience in a senior (group) business control manager, finance manager, business unit controller, fp&a role
- RC, MBA, CMA,CIMA
- Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset

- Strong ability to create change
- Good communicator, planner, organiser and able to bridge differences
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Effective project management skills
Experience
- 8-10 years progressive experience to controllership in an international corporation or industry specific (logistics/shipping) company.
- An experienced finance professional possessing commercial acumen, business knowledge and strategic insight and the ability to influence.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required and a track record of managing and motivating staff performance. Lead by example.
- Strong experience in transformations toward a data driven finance organization
- Experienced in changemanagement
- Ability to lead and coach and coach global teams
- Ability to influence decisions at all levels of the organisation
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- An excellent relationship builder and communicator, collaborative and able to challenge others
