Key Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the business including Management Reports
- Prepare Board presentations for the Finance Coordinator
- Coordinate the End of Month Financial processes and financial statements
- Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual
- Manage and execute Treasury activities
- Enforce procedure compliance throughout AOC and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit
- Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance and treasury issues
- Support the ’Governance, Risk and Compliance throughout AOC
Functional Specific Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Provide periodical (mostly weekly and monthly) management reporting on the activities of Finance Operations including its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Work Load Indicators
- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts and correspond with vendors on missing records and discrepancies
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal AOC divisions on cost control problems and infractions of contract
- Coordinate with Treasury to ensure streamlining of processes in the area of cash forecasts
- Gather and provide information to ensure procedures are kept up to date
- Assist with coordination of internal audits on behalf of Finance Division
Business Control
- Maintain an update set of governance documents for AOC and its subsidiaries and prepare relevant reports. Perform activities to support governance framework
- Monitor and maintain the compliance with policy management framework and prepare relevant reports. Advice on matters related to development of policies and procedures.
- Perform supporting activities to support ERM portfolio , maintain the risk register
- Coordinate and monitor the audit follow up process. Advise divisions on implementation of audit observations, and prepare reports.
- Perform controls on budget performance compliance and support month-end closing process
- Prepare required analysis, share financial information and discuss with Management Team
- Coordinate Service Level Agreements and Service Authorizations development and required updates for the external and affiliated customers
- Manage customer accounts and monitor service provision (incl. cost control and reporting)
- Perform financial assessments of vendors and issue assessment reports, manage records and prepare relevant reports
- Perform contract review and cost compliance activities
- Provide advice and analytics on cost management and cost compliance related matters
- Review and maintain the Authorized Expenditure Limits on contracts
- Focal point of contact for insurance matters within AOC and with the insurance brokers
- Ensure timely payment of insurance premiums
- Ensure Company's compliance with WKR regulation
- Review WKR related costs and activities, consolidate the information, liaise with stakeholders on planned activities and prepare relevant reports
- Control and coordinate budget performance reporting from Terminals, for governmental and environmental organizations
- Coordinate Compulsory storage agreement
- Perform activities to support of internal controls framework
Accounting, Treasury & Tax
- Perform the End of Month Financial closing processes including the full consolidation of subsidiaries, branch activities
- Prepare supporting documentation and analyses related to the aforementioned to support AOC as well as external auditors
- Support preparation of financial and management reporting to Saudi Aramco and the AOC Management team on a monthly basis
- Support preparation of AOC statutory Financial Statements in conformity with EU-IFRS
- Execute Tax compliance activities in AOC’s area of operation
- Support in maintaining AOC Tax Control Framework
- Ensure external compliance with regard to chamber of commerce and Tax reporting
- Execute Corporate Tax/ VAT consultation and reporting
- Coordinate and manage banking activities including bank guarantees
- Coordinate and implement credit card management and procedures
- Coordinate, and be responsible for, monthly and weekly cash forecasts
- Execute hedging currency exchange risks with regards to AOC’s standalone operations
- Review and approve payment documents and ensure successful handling of payments
- Prepare DNB reporting documentation and coordinate monthly reports

- Periodically with affiliate company personnel regarding financial matters of mutual concern
- Periodically with service organizations, vendors, banks and Saudi Aramco Finance Business Lines regarding finance issues and with SAO Treasury

- Daily with other Finance personnel at all levels regarding financial data and procedures
- Frequently with Contracting Unit on matters related to proponents to contracts
- Frequently with all levels of AOC professional personnel to improve finance operations and to exchange value added advisory services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor (/Master) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately in English
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
