Financial Controller (reference number: 3282)

Our client is an International chemical organization with a green footprint, with their headoffice in Sao Paulo, Brazil. For their office in Rotterdam we are looking for a Financial Controller.

• Preparation of Annual Report according to Dutch GAAP for 3 Dutch Entities;
• Definition and control of the adjustments IFRS to Dutch GAAP;
• Prepare month, quarter and year-end closing;
• Monthly Analysis and reporting of variances and fluctuations including the preparation of reviews for the management;
• Support Internal and External Audits;
• Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts and relevant P&L Accounts;
• Responsible for assigned SOX Controls applicable to Accounting Team as Control Executor;
• Support Tax Team with deliverables related to Annual Tax returns;
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

• Degree in business/economics, finance or accounting, Registered Accountant (RA or CPA)
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP;
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with financial statements preparation and Internal/External Audits
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to achieve accurate results even under tight deadlines;
• Excellent Communication skills;
• Excellent spoken and written command of English. Dutch is a plus.
