  • Job profile

    The role of Potential Financial Manager is a broad position . You will act as the right hand of the department head and will be able to back-up when needed. Due to the complexity the manager has lots of projects and to be solved issues to work on. Your pro active attitude will help to solve problems you encounter and solve them.


    The role will evaluate to a financial management position and ownership of the actuals. Through all your efforts and realizations you will be the natural manager in time (1,5-2 year time) if you would like to step in to this position.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Tackle all kinds of issues with a cando mentality and take ownership
    • Easy understanding of big sets of data and the formula’s underlying that are imported to excel as from oracle
    • Focus within the team regarding Revenue accounting, deferred revenue, revenue recognition and provide support to internal and external audits.
    • Improving processes and optimizing in to the ORACLE & HFM
    • You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the general accounting reporting and practices for the organization
    • Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately with a high standard of supporting documentation.
    • Reviews accounting activities performed by other team members and performs the more complex GL activities (e.g. Inventory, fixed assets, lease) as needed to ensure compliance with USGAAP, IFRS and tax (Except VAT) requirements.
    • Preparation of financial statements in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with local and US GAAP.
    • Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate explanations in line with SOX requirements.
    • Ensure that the accounting documentation is updated and maintains the traceability of it in order to support the accounting and the taxes in proper way.
    • Actively participate and support of the improving accounting process into the ERP
    • Deal with your colleagues of the FSSC and HQ.
    • Includes ad hoc duties, project as necessary
  • Job requirements
    • Academic degree in accounting, ACCA
    • At least 5 years of experience in general accounting including all month end closure activities.
    • You have experience in working in international organization; preferably SSC experience
    • Knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
    • Experience in with Oracle / HFM abd Excel.
    • Dedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilities, flexible, adaptable and solution-oriented.
    • Organized and methodical, a hands-on “doer” with attention to detail, able to handle complexity.
    • Ask yourself why / how come? There is a difference regarding figures
    • Analytical.
    • Customer service oriented (internal and external)
    • Ability to work under pressure and a high degree of ability to define priorities.
    • Focused on process improvement and challenges the status quo.
    • Possibility to travel up to 3 times a year to India/USA/EUROPE
